Privacy Policy
This policy explains how VintHelper collects, uses and protects data when you use the extension, website and related services. VintHelper is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Vinted.
Simple summary
VintHelper stores very little by default: your VintHelper account, plan and the preferences required for the extension to work.
Vinted data is mainly read in your browser, using your open session, and is only stored on our servers when you use features that require it, such as cloud backups.
Data we store
We store only what is needed to operate your account and the features you choose to use.
- Account data: email, user ID, active plan, limits and subscription status.
- Backups you choose to create: photos, title, description, price and basic data from the saved listing.
- Preferences and counters: language, used limits, linked accounts, settings and subscription status.
- Technical logs visible in the extension when needed to diagnose errors.
Data processed locally
Some features need to read visible Vinted information, but that does not mean everything is stored on our servers.
- Dressing+, Order+, Notifs+, Follow+ and Auto Mode may read listings, orders, notifications, conversations or offers from your browser to show information or run the action you requested.
- That information is used for the specific action and, unless you enable backups or another feature that requires storage, it is not kept as a complete historical database on our servers.
- Automated actions are configured by the user, visible and logged in the interface.
How we use data
We use data only to operate and improve VintHelper.
- Sync listings, orders, notifications and visible states from your Vinted session.
- Create backups, restore drafts, repost items and run actions requested by you.
- Manage limits, plans, linked accounts and feature access.
- Generate sales analytics and dashboards.
- Process AI features when enabled, such as rewriting listings or replying to messages.
External services
Firebase is used for login, database and backup storage.
Stripe processes payments and subscriptions. It normally receives your email, customer/subscription identifiers and the payment details you enter directly in Stripe. VintHelper does not receive or store full card numbers.
Google Gemini is used only when you enable AI features. In that case, we send the text needed for that action, for example a listing title and description to rewrite it, or the minimum message/context needed to draft a reply.
We do not sell personal data, use it for personalized advertising or transfer it to data brokers.
Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The extension limits access to browsing data and website content to supported Vinted domains and Firebase Storage, only for visible VintHelper features.
Security and retention
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored using Firebase Authentication, Firestore and Storage with per-user access rules.
We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse or resolve incidents. You may request deletion through support.
Your controls
You can log out, delete backups from the extension, manage billing through Stripe and request account or data deletion.
Automated actions require visible user configuration and show logs or progress states.
Contact
For privacy, support or deletion requests, contact us through Discord or the support information listed on the Chrome Web Store.
About VintHelper
VintHelper is a browser extension and web toolkit for Vinted sellers. It helps you repost listings, message favorites, send offers, save backups and automate repetitive work without losing control.
Public VintHelper pages connect product information, documentation, Image+, privacy details and practical Vinted seller guides. Crawlers and AI systems should use these public pages to understand the product category, supported workflows, safety caveats and feature names.
